My name is Javier and I’m a web designer.
I’m also a photographer, reader and dog lover. I collect design books and frequently keep up with the latest online trends by reading my favorite periodicals: Computer Arts and Practical Web Design.
I’m influenced by Japanese and Latin American culture. Learning Japanese language has been my greatest endeavor. Right next to teaching myself HTML and CSS at the tender age of 15. I’m a MAC and PC user and both are entangled with the latest Adobe design products. I speak Spanish fluently and have dreamed of back-packing through Latin American.
I grew up in Seattle, WA and I’m constantly missing that city every day. I’m currently in Orange County, CA working full time as a web designer for Smith+Noble and freelancing on the side.

Drawing, painting and photography are the beginning elements that geared me to become more creative with my online pieces. I was taught color theory, design and composition before I taught myself how to code and develop web sites.
